Welcome to the NEW MEXICO FIREARMS TRAINING INSTITUTE website. It is with our company that you can sign up for NEW MEXICO CONCEALED CARRY (CHL) Training, NRA Pistol Course or a NRA PERSONAL PROTECTION IN THE HOME Course typically held in the Albuquerque East Mountain area. New Mexico Firearms Training Institute's aim is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment to which one can learn handgun usage for personal protection or get the required training needed to apply for a concealed carry permit with the state of New Mexico. Training for the NM concealed carry permit (CHL) is scheduled as a group consisting of 3 to 6 persons following NRA principles and the NM Department of Public Safety guidelines in a 15 hour course. NRA Pistol and NRA Personal Protection in the Home trainings are conducted as needed and can be tailored individually. We also provide fingerprinting services (which are included free of charge in the concealed carry course) by New Mexico Law Enforcement Fingerprint Identification and Procedures certified fingerprinters.
